Aquatic Facilities

Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre offers a wide variety of features ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy, including the outdoor 50m swimming pool heated to 28 degrees, outdoor 25m swimming pool heated to 28 degrees, outdoor toddler pool heated to 28 degrees, indoor heated 25m swimming pool, indoor heated todler pool.

50m Swimming Pool

Providing you with a range of great options, this pool is a big hit with competition swimmers, fitness swimmers, school groups, carnival days and swimming clubs. 

The shallow end of the pool (starting with 1.20m depth) is popular for learn to swim, free play and water exercise programs. The pool has 8 lanes available with most lanes available for lap swimmers on most days only during the Summer months.
 

25m Swimming Pool

Catering for beginner and intermediate swimmers, this dedicated pool will allow tuition to all ages and abilities making learning to swim a great experience. Only during the Summer months.
 

Outdoor Learners Pool

This pool is great for those starting to familiarise themselves with the water. With plenty of vantage points, enjoy watching and supervising your child/children as they enjoy all kinds of water activities that will keep them entertained whilst you have time to relax. Only during the Summer months.
 

Indoor Multi-purpose Pool

Our indoor multi-purpose pool is catered to programs such as Splish Splash Aqua Playgroup, Group Exercise classes and allocated slots for hydrotheraphy exercises at your own pace.

You can enjoy the specialist health benefits associated or simply relax and enjoy a serene and beautiful aquatic environment.

Please note at times aqua classes are scheduled, please refer to the group fitness timetable for specific times when there will be limited public space available. 
 

Sauna

Looking for a way to relax the body? Enjoy a steamy sauna session to flush out the body. The sauna is available to patrons 16 years and over.
